About us

Wingfield Jones was created in 2024 by Vicky and Richard Jones. Richard originally started turning shaving brushes as a hobby. The popularity for his handmade brushes grew, so we decided to expand into ceramic bowls. After lessons with Chris Parkes at Mud Fox in Durham, our confidence grew and our thirst to experiment advanced into tableware and gifts, and our own brand was born.

Travelling miles to be able to get tools, clay and machinery, we decided to open a supplies shop in Northumberland. Open to the public to pop in, browse and buy, we also offer a nice cuppa. Whether online or in person, we want you to relax and enjoy Wingfield Jones, and hope you enjoy your pottery craft as much as we do.
