Mayco Stoneware Purple Aster 473ml

Purple Aster is a glossy, semi opaque lavender glaze that breaks over texture and develops a pale violet frost. The deep blue crystal melt into cascading blooms of indigo.

One of the most distinctive traits of Mayco’s Stoneware is the glazes provide consistent performance and intriguing visual interest. Glazes will break over texture, revealing secondary colours and shades. Stoneware glaze is formulated to mature at cone 6-10.

1. Stir well. Use a soft brush, apply 2-3 coats and allow glaze to dry between coats
2. Upon opening, crystals will be concentrated at the bottom of the bottle. Stir the glaze thoroughly before each use
3. Crystals can create movement, avoid heavy concentrations of crystals at the bottom of your piece.
4. When storing, consider storing upside down to make the crystals more accessible
5. Can be used in oxidisation or reduction firings, results may vary
6. Do NOT spray apply
