Mayco Wax Resist

Water based product that acts to repel glazes and prevent colours from adhering when applied to bisque or greenware. May be used for waxing the foot of pieces before glazing or a decorative design technique using a brush, sponge or splatter.

1. Condition brush with mild liquid dish soap prior to use
2. Apply one generous coat to design areas
3. Clean brush immediately after use and keep bottle tightly closed
4. Was resist is removed by firing in kiln
5. Fires from cone 25-10
6. When glaze is applied over wax resist, any remaining beads of colour should be removed prior to firing
7. Non-Toxic, Non Hazardous, and Food Safe when used according to manufacturers directions
